Walking
If you enjoy walking, there is a woodland walk from Little Walk Cottage, and a local footpath network. Nearby is a link to the Viking Way (7 miles), the course of which takes you almost entirely through thinly populated countryside, quiet villages and small market towns. The Viking Way crosses an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, over fens, wolds and heath land on a meandering journey across Lincolnshire and Rutland. The walk is a total of 147 miles long but not everyone feels up to walking the full distance and many just walk short stretches at their own pace.
